Processing Issues
Problems with upload and transcription
Job Stuck on "Processing"
Processing typically takes 1-3 minutes but can take longer for large files.
If stuck for more than 10 minutes:
- Refresh the page - check if status updated
- Clear browser cache and reload
- Contact support if still processing
The job continues processing server-side even if you close the page.
Upload Fails
1. Check file format:
- Video: MP4, MOV, MKV, WEBM
- Audio: MP3, AAC, WAV, M4A, WEBM
2. Check file duration:
- Maximum 5 minutes
3. Try these solutions:
- Check your internet connection
- Try a different browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox)
- Disable browser extensions
- Use incognito/private mode
"Could Not Determine Media Duration" Error
This means the file metadata couldn't be read.
Solutions:
- Try re-encoding the file in a different format (e.g. MP4 H.264 or HEVC H.265)
- Use Audio file instead of Video (e.g. MP3 or AAC)
- Ensure file isn't corrupted (play it locally)
Transcription Accuracy Poor
Improve accuracy by:
- Selecting the correct language when uploading
- Using clear audio with minimal background noise
- Ensuring consistent volume levels
- Using supported language variants (e.g., English US vs UK)
Edit any errors directly in the timeline by clicking words.
